CHALLENGES
The primary challenge lies in designing a landscape that encapsulates the essence of a Relaxing Cottage Garden while integrating seamlessly with the property's existing features.
THE PLAN
We began by collaborating closely with the homeowners to develop a conceptual design that embodied the essence of a Relaxing Cottage Garden, capturing the warmth, tranquility, and timeless charm desired.
We conducted a thorough site assessment to evaluate existing conditions and determine the optimal layout for the various features, taking into account any grading or drainage issues that needed to be addressed for the landscape's longevity and functionality.
THE RESULTS
We seamlessly integrated key features into the design, such as the stunning rose garden, focal point paver patio adjacent to the outdoor kitchen and under the white wooden pergola, and the warmly lit pavilion with an outdoor fireplace, ensuring each element harmonized with the surrounding landscape.
We included versatile entertainment options under the rustic pavilion, including cozy evenings by the fire or outdoor game nights with a stowable flat-screen TV. The alfresco area on the light-colored paver patio was designed to provide a luxurious space for outdoor dining and gatherings, seamlessly connecting to the home and outdoor kitchen for added convenience.
Lush plantings and expert masonry work were incorporated to create a beautiful collection of plantings. Rose bushes are connected by a stepping stone path, adding depth and character to the landscape. Lush green lawn areas enhanced the overall tranquility and serenity of the garden, inviting guests to linger and enjoy the captivating vistas and plantings.
